  • The average weight of a adult is 60,000 to
    100,000 pounds.
  • When they migrate they can go for 1000 miles.

Diet
  • Humpback whales do not have teeth instead they
    have baleen plates attached to the top of their
    mouth trimmed with bristles.
  • When humpback whales eat krill they suck up water
    and trap the krill and let the water out.
  • Humpback whales never eat meat.

  • -Humpback whales have narrow flippers and use
    them for arching deeply as it dives.
  • Humpback whales normally swim away or scare a
    predators by its being in a large group.
  • Humpback whales make moans and screams to warn
    the rest of the group of a predator.

  • Humpback whales have a different shape because
    they have a pointed head so they can dive in
    water.
  • Humpback whales have milk and they give it to
    their baby in ten months.
  • Humpback whales are dark blue so when it is below
    a predator it looks like the sea. They have a
    white stomach so if it is on top of a predator it
    looks like the sun.
