• A dwarf planet is like a planet but smaller.

• The temperature of Pluto is -375 F (-225 C ).
• The diameter of Pluto is about 1400 miles or 2300
  kilometers.
• Plutos rotation is six earth days. Its
  revolution is 248 earth years.

Plutos Moons and Visits

• Pluto has three moons Charon, Nix and Hydra.
  Pluto was thought to have one moon, Charon, until
  2005. Pluto has not been visited yet, but they
  sent out a new space shuttle in 2005. It will
  arrive in 2015.

• Plutos atmosphere is mostly nitrogen,with a bit
  of monoxide and methane.
• Plutos distance from the sun is 3,647,240,000
  miles (5,869,660,000 kilometers).

• Pluto got its name in Roman Mythology when Pluto
  and his brothers Jupiter and Neptune defeated
  their father, Mercury.
• Plutos moon Charon is the same size as Pluto,
  half of the United States.
• Pluto has a thin atmosphere.
