  • Include most stations in the global land surface
    station network.
  • All books are in excellent condition.

  • Unique entries among books will be keyed.
  • A station history will be created for 1958-1968.
  • Will provide valuable information for period with
    a dearth of station metadata.
  • PROJECT FOCUS
  • NCAR will QC the keyed data and provide access to
    the research community.
  • NCDC will use in Integrated Surface Data (ISD)
    project and in the Multi-Network Metadata System
    (MMS).
