• Lake Superior is located in 3 different places.
  Part of the lake are found in Michigan,
  Minnesota, and Canada.

Animal Life

• There are many different types of animals living
  in Lakes.
• The animals are as followed Ducks, Frogs, Fish,
  and Turtles.

Ducks

• The duck you see to your left is a mallard silky
  drake.

Frogs

• To the left is a picture of a Mink Frog. Mink
  frogs are generally found in quiet lakes with
  lots of lake plants.

Fish

• To the left is a picture of a Brook Trout. The
  Brook Trout is only one of the sixty different
  species of fish found in Lake Superior.

  that lives in lake superior and in many different
  lakes also.

• Plant life plays an important role in the life of
  the lake animals. They provide some with
  protection and other with food.

Green Algae

• To the right you see a picture of green algae.
  This is common in all lakes and is a very
  important part to the life in Lake Superior.

Reeds

• To the right is a picture of water reeds it
  gives frogs and other small animals a place to
  hide from other bigger animals called predators.

Water Willow

• To your left are water willows and this provides
  another hiding place for smaller and medium sized
  animals.

Climate

• As of October 25th the current average water
  surface temperature is about 48 degrees F.
• Weather conditions are fog, rain, hail, snow (in
  the winter duh).
