  industries.

The Sectors.

• The travel and tourism industry is split into
  three sectors
• Public Sector Non-commercial organisations who
  aim to provide education and services to people,
  for example Tourist Information.
• Private Sector Commercial organisations who
  aim to make a profit from their business, for
  example Alton Towers or Hilton Hotels
• Voluntary Sector Again non-commercial but they
  rely on sponsorships or membership for income,
  for example the National Trust or Youth Hostel
  Association (YHA).
