Demonstration Garden Design

• Formal Design Option
• Based on simple and clear axial lines.
• Emphasis on major views and walking ways.
• Major flagstone pathway -5 wide, ADA
  accessible
• Garden area divided into smaller planting areas
  maintained be volunteer groups.
• Use same color palette throughout the garden.
• Major spaces of the design include rectangular
  seating area.
• Focal point area and adjacent to the Food Stand
  gathering/waiting area.
• The pergola adjacent to the 4-H building -
  shaded walkway leading to the focal point area.
• The focal point is a sculpture, placed on viewing
  axis - art piece created by youth groups,
  specifically for the Worth County Fair as a
  competition project.
• Small stone water feature
• Trellises inspired by Norwegian folk art -
  decorate plain white metal walls and to reduce
  reflecting light.
