Title: Tropical rain forest and Desert
1Tropical rain forestandDesert
2The Tropical rainforest temperature usually is
warm and the rainfall mostly can be more than 100
inches a year. Some of the animals that live in
the tropical rainforest are toco toucans, Bengal
tigers, jambu fruit doves, and orangutans. Those
animals can survive at the tropical rainforest
because there are many trees and with the trees
it can protect them by the rain. All though the
bengal tiger cant climb trees or live in them it
still can live there. Some of the plants that
grow there are bougainvilleas, coconut trees,
jambus, and durians. Those plants can grow at the
tropical rain forest because the plants have the
right amount of sun and water. As you read facts
about the tropical rainforest I hope you learned
something new.
3Did you know that the deserts can be hot just
like the Australian Desert or just like the
Gobi Desert it can be cold. In the Atacama
Desert there has been no rain for years. Some
animals that live in the desert are kangaroo
rats, tortoises, and pygmy owls. The pygmy owls
can survive at the desert because it can make a
hole in a cactus and protect itself from
predators, but the tortoises gets into their
shells and pretend that they are rocks, and the
kangaroo rats can dig holes at the base of
bushes. Some of the plants that grow there are
the barrel cactuses, brittle bushes, Mojave
aster, crimson hedgehog cactuses, and the jumping
cholla. The plants can grow there because they
are used to their environment. Now I hope you
learned some facts about this hot and dry desert.
