1
High pT track matching
  • EMID official em_util package
  • Plots for p11.09

2
Efficiency
  • Efficiency computed on Z sample. Takes into
account possible correlation (cf Run I)
  • Tracks limited to hlt0.8 because of trigger
  • p10.15 efficiency was 70 using all possible
chunks on our private Z sample for ICHEP
  • Independant sample processed with p11.11
    various algorithms

3
High pT track matching (data)
4
High pT track matching (MC)
5
MET Monitoring per LBN
6
Offset corrections
  • Offset distribution
  • Before/after distributions

7
Unclustered energy calibration
  • Calibrate on Z events pT(meas) k pT(Z)
    uTwith ltuTgt 0
  • k 3 methods

modulus
bisector
0.53 ?0 .06
0.50 ?0.08
balancing
0.59 ? 0.07
8
Unclustered energy calibration (MC)
  • All 3 methods yield k 0.73 ? 0.03 compared to
    data k 0.55
  • Strategy
  • do not correct data with 0.55 AND Monte Carlo
    with 0.73
  • ONLY correct Monte Carlo to look like data

9
Underlying event correction
  • uT calibration with Z eventsProject recoil on Ox
    and Oy
  • Data sx 6.7 GeV and sy 5.5 GeV
  • MC sx 4.4 GeV and sy 4.0 GeV
  • Smear Monte Carlo to look like data
  • x 4.5 GeV y 2.9 GeV
