LEGAL ISSUES

• no PORNOGRAPHY is allowed on school computers.
  If you are researching art on the internet that
  might be considered pornographic, consult with
  your teacher.

• downloading of music illegally is strictly
  forbidden again, check first.
• personal email is permitted, but should be kept
  to a minimum.
• engaging in any form of terrorism is discouraged.

ETHICS

• Computers and ICT are powerful tools, and should
  be used ethically.
• This means being responsible with your usage,
  not infringing upon others, and demonstrating
  courteous behaviour.
• Just because computer use and communication
  seems impersonal, real people will receive your
  emails and read your websites, SO DONT HURT
  THEIR FEELINGS!
• Students who violate others through ICT will be
  dealt with accordingly.

• VALUES

• Your use of ICTs should be guided by the same
  values that you as a valued student and human
  being stand for.
• Mainly, VALUE friendship,VALUE respect, for
  yourself and others, VALUE hard work, VALUE your
  education and opportunities, VALUE your country,
  and most of all, VALUE peace and harmony.
• Money, however, is valuable too.

• And that brings us to

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

• Treat your computer as if it were alive (and
  thats nicely!) because soon it will be!
• If your teacher asks you to do something, then
  PLEASE do it!
• Fighting over computers and other resources is
  forbidden your teacher will mediate AND/OR
  assign you to a workstation.
• No food or drink (or gum!) is allowed near the
  computers.
• No work is to be continued while the teacher is
  talking or demonstrating a skill.
• Be good, and have fun (in that order!)
