• The rainbow trout nest is called a redd. The
  rainbow trout is part of the salmon family.
  Rainbow trout eat plankton. What is plankton?
  Well plankton is part plant and part animal.A
  redd is made in the bottom of the stream.The male
  fertilizes the eggs.

• How large does a rainbow trout grow? Well about
  50 cm.The rainbow trouts body is covered with
  scales.The rainbow trout scales protects its
  body.The rainbow trouts senses are sight,
  smell, taste, touch, balance and hearing. They
  are important because without them they do
  nothing at all.

• The rainbow trout leaps and moves by bending.
  The stream is the home of the rainbow trout. The
  trout is good to eat. The rainbow trout is a
  favorite for fishermen.
