The Governance Review
  • Critical of the current structure

  • To ensure the Society provides customer focused
    services in a timely manner
  • Finance Committee
  • To be responsible to Council for ensuring the
    financial health of the Society and that it uses
    all resources and assets in a prudent and
    effective manner to further the Aims of the
    Society
  • Education and Welfare
  • To foster and further encourage the acquisition
    of knowledge regarding the management of Welsh
    ponies and cobs and their part breds in
    particular and equines in general through a
    developing programme of instruction and liaison
    with like minded groups.

  • Communication and Promotion
  • To publicise the merits and attributes of Welsh
    ponies and cobs and their part-breds by all means
    possible.
  • Judging and Showing
  • To advise Council on the best way of ensuring
    judges on the Welsh Panel and shows affiliating
    to the Society abide by the applicable rules as
    amended from time to time and to devise a
    continuing programme of appointing new judges and
    ensuring they uphold the integrity and good
    standing of the Society.
  • Human Resources
  • To develop strategy and policy in all matters
    relating to the recruitment, reward, retention,
    motivation and development of the Societys
    staff, recommending changes as appropriate to
    Council.
