    Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Montana

  • Mexican Prairie Dog lives only in Mexico
  • Utah Prairie Dog lives in Utah

All prairie dogs live in colonies called towns in
burrows up to 100 feet deep.

  • Weight 1.5 to 3 lbs.
  • Length Body 11 to 13 inches, tail 3 to 4 inches
  • Fur Yellowish
  • 22 teeth
  • Life Span 3-5 years
  • Vegetarian
