OXYs Cascade Canyon Road

• Road is being constructed entirely on private
  land owned by OXY and will have no public access
• Road is being constructed to significantly reduce
  travel time between wells and decrease traffic on
  County and other roads
• Provides safer access for our employees and
  contractors
• Reduces vehicle miles and energy usage
• Decreases vehicle trips on public roads
• Road does not provide access to the BLMs Roan
  Plateau Planning Area
• This road is part of OXYs overall goal to limit
  the impact of our operations to adjacent
  landowners and the traveling public and provide a
  safe work environment for our employees and
  contractors
• Use of this road coupled with the availability of
  temporary housing for workers (via Special Use
  Permit application to Garfield County) will
  assist us in meeting this goal
