3Who we are
SDA Bocconi Sailing Club
Yacht Club Italiano
- YCI was founded in Genoa at the end of the
Eighteenth Century - During the'30s, YCI began the process of
association with other Circles which led to the
creation of the Italian Sailing Federation - YCI organizes every year prestigious classic
regattas (Giraglia Rolex Cup, Carlo Negri
Pirelli Cup, Zegna Trophy, SIAD Trophy, )
and the MBAs Cup in collaboration with the SDA
Bocconi Sailing Club - Today YCI counts 1200 Members and 295 yachts
- The Club was founded in 2001 as an initiative of
MBA students to integrate management and sport
activities and to promote events - The Club has greatly developed, matching the
expectations of people who conceive sailing both
as a sport and as a real opportunity of
aggregation - The success of its activities is witnessed by the
vast participation to its events and the
consensus that students, Alumni and international
business schools ascribe to the Club
The collaboration with Yacht Club Italiano is the
heart of the MBAs Cup. Together we organized
four successful editions
