47. The Role of the IM Networks in the Grand
Scheme of Things Core Duties
IMAC agreed that our primary responsibility is
to serve internal users park managers, other
park staff, park planners, and internal
scientists
Providing one stop shopping for condition and
trend information This is a core duty for the
short list of vital signs identified by the
network. Intranet and internet websites (see
below) are the key means of communicating data
and information collected and organized by the
network to park managers, planners, and park
staff for decision-making, education, and
research.
