5We got to our check in spot just in time. Phew!
Bernacki?
Good morning!
Craig?
6I hate going to the library for study hall. That
librarian is just so mean!
I know! Shes like a vicious animal!
7Only an hour and a half until were outta here
Grrr. Look at her. She already looks mad.
8What she didnt know, though, was that the one
thing she couldnt control was the one thing that
could disturb her kingdom and disrupt her reign
forever
We saw that evil gleam in her eye, knowing she
felt omnipotent keeping watch over her precious
library.
We could almost hear a maniacal laugh and a
foreboding, dun, dun, dun.
As Tiz and I were giggling, she shot us a glance
that said
Marion, the librarian, seemed to be hovering like
a vulture
You two better be quiet, OR ELSE!
She thought she was the king of the forest.
Tiz and me.
9Its almost impossible to keep those two monkeys
quiet! They are always laughing!
Oh, those two What am I ever to do with them?
10Tell me about it. Im reading about Abraham
Lincolns slaves. Zzzzz. Look at this
Lincoln loved to read. One slave has even said
of his master, Fust, Mista Lincoln would read
one, then tother.
Come on! Do they really have this slave on
record for saying that? This book is just making
things up.
Im bored.
HAH! Tother? Thats so funny!
Sorry.
Tother!!
Tother!
It was during these laughter-filled moments in
the library that Tiz and I fabricated our most
memorable, imagined scenarios
Girls you need to be quiet.
11We began to imagine the library as a jungle
12Before we know it, we are cruising the jungle on
the lookout for anything that gets in our way
Namely, that agitated lion den mother.
13The bell rings and Tiz and I are still in some
sort of alternate-universe-adventureland
Because we hear the ringing bell as an angry roar
from the ferocious lioness

15I see her! TOTHER!
TOTHER!
16As we snap back into reality, we find ourselves
cackling just like hyenas at our own
preposterousness.
We dually note that, yet again, we have
successfully created a full-scale scenario that
no one but each other will ever understand or
take seriously.
We are so strange!
17We are two of a kind. Always looking on the
bright side and finding the fun and silliness in
every situation...
After all, dont birds of a feather, flock
together?
Come to think of it it makes perfect sense that
I have found such a strange friend like Tiz.
Strange we may be, but it doesnt matter.
