4MISSION STATEMENT
To create environment for enhancement of
livestock production as a vehicle for social
security, poverty alleviation, rural development
and to contribute towards domestic requirements
of food and exportable surpluses.

for milk, meat and eggs. - To provide comprehensive health coverage to
animals. - To strengthen training for farmers.
- Women empowerment through training and
incentives. - To improve the marketing system in rural areas
for poverty alleviation. - To conduct applied research with direct benefit
to the stakeholders. - To raise stakeholders awareness through media.
- Conservation of indigenous breeds.
