• Adults can survive with bites from its wings.

• Milkweed is poisonous and makes the larvae and
  butterfly poisonous but doesnt help when a
  predator kills and eats it.

• Scotts orioles and Stellars jay are the main
  predators but Black headed orioles and Grosbeaks
  are the main right now.

Black headed Grosbeaks

• Grosbeaks eat fewer female monarchs than Orioles.

• Orioles and Grosbeaks may feed on monarchs twice
  daily.
