  Primary Care residency programs at Montefiore is
  to produce, in an academic environment of
  innovation and commitment, clinicians and
  physician leaders who are equipped to improve the
  health of society, particularly that of
  underserved populations.

Didactic for Medicine Residents (Social
Pediatrics, Family Medicine invited)

• Global Health Course (50-60 hrs, /-15
  participants, clinical cases, MCH, malaria, HIV,
  TB, refugee health, gender issues, with workshops
  and rounds)
• Human Rights Clinic for Survivors of Torture
• Liberation Medicine Seminar (16 hr on HHR, COPC,
  Confronting Racism, Trans-natl Pharma, Harm
  Reduction, Environment, Literature Healing,
  Education)
• South Bronx Community Health Promoters
• OPEN IT (Opportunities Pro-Immigrant, Elderly and
  Newcomer and International Travel) ½ day a week
  clinic sessions with AMR teachinga welcome
  clinic!
