    practice their nursing skills via real time
    simulation
  • Purchased equipment to allow for a video-streamed
    fast-track program for students wishing to
    advance from LVN to ADN
  • Will pay a portion of construction costs for the
    new School of Nursing

  • Provided ten nursing students/graduates with an
    opportunity to participate in a ten-week Spanish
    language/cultural immersion program in Peru the
    purpose of the program is to provide participants
    with the knowledge to provide culturally
    responsive care to monolingual Spanish-speaking
    patients in our local community

    diverse middle and high school students

  • National Science Foundation Computer Science,
    Engineering and Mathematics Scholarships (CSEMS)
  • Provides a maximum scholarship of 3,125 per
    academic year to female and other
    underrepresented students pursuing studies in the
    CSEMS disciplines the assistance is meant to
    expedite degree completion and increase the
    diversity of the student population transferring
    from RCC to a four-year institution
