• Nursing Education
• Continue to expand student enrollment in the
  Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.) program
• Continue to funded additional faculty positions
• Purchased equipment to create a Virtual Human
  Patient Simulator Lab, which allows students to
  practice their nursing skills via real time
  simulation
• Purchased equipment to allow for a video-streamed
  fast-track program for students wishing to
  advance from LVN to ADN
• Will pay a portion of construction costs for the
  new School of Nursing

• Gateway to College Early College High School
• Funded the start-up of a charter school to serve
  high school dropouts the program addresses
  academic gaps through remediation, and enables
  students to acquire a high school diploma and
  transition to college

  Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP)
• Established partnerships with Jurupa, Alvord and
  Riverside Unified School Districts to serve an
  identified grade level cohort the program
  provides services to increase academic
  achievement and the college-going rate among
  students in the cohort

• Riverside School for the Arts
• Supports planning activities for the Riverside
  School for the Arts including the development of
  curriculum, an inter-segmental governance
  structure, an assessment plan and facilities
  planning

• Peru Immersion Program
• Provided ten nursing students/graduates with an
  opportunity to participate in a ten-week Spanish
  language/cultural immersion program in Peru the
  purpose of the program is to provide participants
  with the knowledge to provide culturally
  responsive care to monolingual Spanish-speaking
  patients in our local community

• National Science Foundation Advanced
  Technological Education
• Funds the creation and redesign of engineering
  technology courses to address preparation gaps
  identified by the Society of Manufacturing
  Engineers and the Accreditation Board for
  Engineering and Technology
• Allows for the development of student field
  experiences and work placements with local
  industry
• Creates a Summer Innovation Institute to recruit
  diverse middle and high school students

• Funded the purchase and installation of
  playground equipment at the Early Childhood
  Education Teacher Training Center to allow
  children with special needs due to a disability
  to access the playground

  Corona-Norco Unified School District and provides
  services aimed at
• Increasing the rate of secondary school promotion
  and graduation
• Assisting students with enrollment into a
  post-secondary school and applying for student
  financial aid

Campus...

• National Science Foundation Computer Science,
  Engineering and Mathematics Scholarships (CSEMS)
• Provides a maximum scholarship of 3,125 per
  academic year to female and other
  underrepresented students pursuing studies in the
  CSEMS disciplines the assistance is meant to
  expedite degree completion and increase the
  diversity of the student population transferring
  from RCC to a four-year institution
