  • BOCES CTE Centers
  • District CTE programs

Technical Endorsements Why?
  • Publicly recognizes student CTE achievement
  • Motivates students to achieve at least a 3 credit
    sequence at higher levels
  • Motivates students to be successful academically
  • Increases attendance and participation

Technical Endorsement How?
  • Completion of 22 units of credit
  • Pass 5 required Regents exams or approved
    alternatives
  • Successful completion of the 3-part technical
    assessment (written, demonstration, project)
  • Completion of a Work Based Learning (WBL) program
  • Completion of Employability Profile

  • Must be a 3 5 credit sequence

    recommended
  • Example of approved Business Ed programs Law,
    Marketing, Health, Computer Science,
    Accounting/Finance
