Shipbuilding in the Turku area dates back to
1737. The Turku New Shipyard is one the largest
and most modern shipyards in Europe. New

Production Plant Wärtsilä NSD offers complete
power solutions for power plants and marine
propulsion. It has technological leadership in
high-, medium- and low-speed multi-fuel
engines. Wärtsilä NSD has production facilities
in six European countries and assembly factories
in Europe, Asia and North America.
