Center for Disease Control. They need to produce
a poster to inform the public about diseases with
Comic Life Software.

the contributions of individual organs, tissues,
and cells. The failure of any part can affect the
entire system.

- 1. Identify how each disease is caused. (5
causes genetics, infectious agents, environment,
lifestyle, combination of factors) Warn the
public of how it is caused.2. What are the
symptoms involved in your disease.3. Give a
warning if there may be carriers or vectors
involved in the disease.4. Explain how can we
prevent the disease from spreading or getting
worse.5. Explain any treatment available or
currently being researched for people who have
the disease.

- Students will
- 1. Use World Wide Web to research their assigned
disease. - 2. Use Cornell notes to document their research.
- 3. Use at least 5 special effects, such as color,
photos, image attribute, style attribute, and
panel attributes from Comic Life Software.

- 10 points for graphics
- 10 points for research (Cornell notes)
