  • Received her MD from the Faculty of Medicine,
    UBC. Following Internship in San Francisco, and a
    year of family practice, she pursued a Residency
    in Obstetrics Gynaecology at UBC
  • Has served three elected terms on the College of
    Physicians Surgeons of BC and serving as its
    President in 1997-1998
  • Became a clinical professor at the Faculty of
    Medicine in July 1999, She has served on the
    Faculty of Medicine Awards Committee, the ad hoc
    Jubilee Committee, the Search Committee for
    selection of Dean of Medicine in both 1991 and
    1995-1996 and has been a member of the Admissions
    Selection Committee from 2000 to the present

    has also been actively involved as a Big Buddy
