Psychology plus Stage 2 of BPS Dip. in F. Psych
(2 years supervised practice). - Starting salaries - 15,804 - 18,912. Salaries
after 10-15 yrs - 27,023 - 38,898. - Apply direct to HM Prison Service or Nat.
Probation Service. - Demand significant one of fastest growing
areas of employment for psychology graduates

- Trainees employed by individual services and

forces - Attend crime scenes and collect evidence
- Unsociable hours travel work can be
distressing - Complete 9-week course at National Centre for
Scientific Support Criminal Investigation
(Durham University). Usually employer-funded.
Later, take Diploma course CPD. - Posts advertised in press and via constabulary
