- Give student a wide-ranging insight into the
emerging field of Health Informatics and its
impact on the delivery of healthcare.

- Show understanding of the principles of systems,
models and change theory - Display critical awareness of the recent history,
current initiatives and issues in health
informatics - Show conceptual grasp of medical knowledge
representation and reasoning - Demonstrate knowledge of data protection and
confidentiality as applied to health information

- Evaluate an HI project
- Synthesise information on a current HI problem or
