Global programme

• Four days at University Clinical Center.
• Four departments Obstetrics, Gynaecology,
  Oncology, Reproductive.
• Guided tours (Ljubljana, Bled).
• Parties and meetings.

Daily organisation.

• General meeting at 8.
• Short presentations on different departments.
• Morning coffee.
• Slovenian trainees distribution.
• Specific programme.
• Lunch at the canteen.
• Depending on the department...

Denmark (Kathrine)

• More medical work force.
• Big effort in education.
• Always supervised (even in ER !).
• The system is efficient...
• ...but what do the nurses really do ?

Norway (Gunn)

• Discovery of the Slovenian experience as a
  specialist with your own ideas of treatment and
  procedures.
• Different but in many ways the same.

Czech Rep. (Michal)

• Learned a lot about medical approaches and off
  scene problems in Slovenia...
• ...but also in 12 other European countries.

Lithuania (Ruta)

• Kind and friendly doctors and residents.
• Different ways leading to the same results.

Hungary I (Zoltan)

• First discovery of a foreign medical system.
• Reconsidering and minimazing the Hungarian health
  system problems.
• In operating rooms trainees are more active than
  in Slovenia.

Hungary II (Peter)

• Slovenian trainees are involved early in some
  practice (small surgery).
• Not enough time to consider the whole training in
  few days.
• Perfectly organised week.

Greece (Jannis)

• Perfectly organised week.
• Kind colleges allowing to take part in the
  activities.
• Positive impression about the Slovenian training
  system.
• Opportunity to discuss about our future education
  with people from other countries.

Turkey (Zeki)

• Perfectly organised week.
• Best experience in perinatology.
• Sharing experienced differences with Turkish
  collegues will help to improve.
• Some more social organisations if possible !!!

United Kingdom (Sharif)

• Good exposure to training and service aspects.
• Nice social programme.
• Helpful host collegues.
• Sugestions
• Try to move the date to summer !
• Make the selection earlier to enable preparation.

Russia (Nino)

• Positive global impression.
• Good contact wit the Slovenian team.
• But the European trainees could try to be more
  open to each other

Spain (Anabel)

• Comparing both systems is a good way to improve
  in our countries.
• Nice personal and professional experience.
• Notice the different ways of performing the same
  procedures.

• Very active participation of trainees.
• Bright rooms and good operating equipment.
• As much positive aspects than negative.
• Very good wines and beautiful mountains !

• Responsability and autonomy come earlier to
  French trainees.
• They are more involved in surgery.
• More experience in Internal Medicine and general
  ER in Slovenia.
• Impressed by the Obstetric and Perinatology
  deparments.
• Delivery doesnt seem a pathology anymore but
  natural...
