4Steering Committee Role
- Provide direction to Planning Group
- Ensure master plan is in accordance with all
district goals, priorities, and policies - Submit proposed master plan for Board of
Education adoption
5Planning Group Role
- Act as liaison to the Steering Committee and the
Citizens and Business Advisory Committees - Coordinate and monitor the progress of Consultant
Team and Working Groups - Assure master plan conforms with State
requirements and judicial order

All Working Groups include Parents, Teachers,
Principals, CAC Members, and District staff
7Academic Working Group Role
- Represent interest of the various stakeholders
- Act as a resource to consultant team in regards
to educational goals as they relate to facilities - Provide needed background information
- Assist in establishing priorities

- Represent interest of the various stakeholders
- Develop a database for district property
- Facilitate condition assessments of district
buildings including accessibility issues - Assist in establishing priorities
9Financial Working Group Role
- Assist in the identification of potential revenue
sources - Assist in projecting revenues over time
- Assist in the development of funding management
strategies and project priorities
