  • The Research Quality Framework (RQF) provides the
    Australian Government with the basis for
    redistributing a proportion of the block funding
    on the basis of ratings for research quality and
    research impact.
  • DEST The aim of the RQF initiative is to
    develop the basis for an improved assessment of
    the quality and impact of publicly funded
    research and an effective process to achieve

    rankings. A number of relevant bodies are
    facilitating the consultation of these rankings.

  • DEST will release the final outlet ranking lists

Evidence Portfolios
  • Research Groups will nominate up to 3 separate
    4-digit RFCD codes to cope with
    cross-disciplinarity and up to 3 separate 4-digit
    SEO codes.
  • A Home Panel will also be nominated that will be
    responsible for ensuring proper assessment of the
    portfolio
