Support System (MDSS)

• MDSS helps solve the Information Overload
  problem
• Surface transportation managers dont want more
  information, they want better information
• Technology must be used to create better,
  targeted products and decision support tools
  through the integration of both weather and
  transportation information

  managers to change when and how they deploy
  resources and treat roads

• We are in the midst of a culture change in
