Respirator Requirements

• Participants in a full tour of the prison will be
  required to obtain a respirator that is at a
  minimum a half-face respirator with P100
  cartridge
• The 3M 6000 series half-face respirator comes
  with P100 cartridges and meets this requirement
• Participants can also choose to find their own
  respirator that meets these requirements
• Details on the 3M 6000 series respirator and
  where to purchase the respirator are included on
  the following slides

Where to Purchase Respirator

• 3M 6000 series respirator can be purchased from
  the Airgas website
• Sizes available are small, medium, and large and
  the price per respirator is approximately 16
• Below is the website link to go to for purchasing

Respirator Certification

• Respirator certification includes training on the
  proper wear and use of the respirator and a fit
  test
• Participants can choose to obtain their own
  certification
• If participants choose to obtain their own
  certification, please fax certification document
  to Alvarez Marsal at 202-729-2101
• Participants who obtain the 3M 6000 series
  respirator can instead choose to obtain
  certification via webinar set up by Alvarez
  Marsal
• Participants wishing to obtain certification
  through this method should check Yes for 3M
  6000 series respirator certification desired? on
  the Information Request Form
• Certification will be based on the 3M 6000 series
  half-face respirator
• Participants signing up for this option will be
  contacted about the date and time of the webinar
