High Efficiency Filtration

Important design features
  • The housing is powder coated steel. Most off the
    shelf air cleaners are plastic and this may
    result in off-gassing of plastic vapors.
  • The motors are American made. They are sealed and
    have no varnish in the windings which prevents
    off-gassing of harmful vapors.
  • The filters are sealed with glueless felt gaskets
    to maximize filtration.
  • Many air cleaners have glued rubber gaskets which
    may cause emission of harmful vapors and rubber
    odors
  • The Carbon and HEPA filters are separate and can
    be changed at different intervals. This lowers
    operating costs

HEPA Filtration
  • HEPA filters were developed by the Atomic Energy
    Commission to filter radio-active particles
  • HEPA filtration is used in operating theaters and
    clean rooms
  • HEPA can filter 99.97 of particles as small as
    0.3 microns. Thats the size of some bacteria
