  • AWIPS Development Environment (ADE)

    re-implementing existing ones (i.e. screen I/O,
    communications protocols, data access routines,
    logging routines, or other previously developed
    capabilities)
  • Software can be developed on a variety of
    platforms

    data types and transforms
