6Applying for University in Australia
International students can apply directly through
their university of choice. A student
interested in post secondary study in Australia
should make direct contact with the TAC in the
State/Territory where their University of choice

7Australia and the IB Diploma
- There are many schools beginning to adopt the IB
curriculum and diploma programme. - Each university and each course has an IB
Diploma requirement. - Universities will have how to convert national
programmes, including the Diploma programme. -

- There are scholarships available, but very
limited and the amounts are not high. -

regarding details and the process of applying for
scholarships.
11Restrictions
Depending on the nationality of the student,
certain restrictions may apply as to whether or
not a person on a student visa is allowed to
work. To be able to work, permission must be
given. This is an easy process and costs approx
60 AUD (38 USD)
