    completion plan indicating remaining courses and
    estimate of graduation quarter signed by advisor.

Return of Title IV Funds
  • Title IV funds are the federal financial aid
    sources previously listed.
  • Students must complete over 60 of a quarter to
    have earned their awarded aid.
  • Withdrawal before the 60 point in a quarter will
    trigger a return of aid calculation and may
    require the student to return some of the federal
    money they received.

TOPS Requirements
  • Students receiving TOPS
  • must successfully complete 24 credit hours each
    year in the Fall, Winter and Spring quarters.
    Summer cannot be used for hours.
  • cannot use CLEP or AP credits towards the
    required 24 credit hours.
  • must enroll as a full-time student each quarter
    (8 or more hours). Audits do not count.
  • must be enrolled as a full-time student through
    the 9th class day to receive TOPS funds for the
    quarter.

TOPS Requirements
  • Students receiving TOPS must
  • Make a 2.00 cumulative GPA each quarter
  • Achieve the required cumulative GPA at the end of
    the academic year.
  • 2.30 1st year of Opportunity TOPS
  • 2.50 2nd year and all future years of Opportunity
    TOPS
  • 3.00 at end of each academic year for Honors and
    performance TOPS awards.

Length of TOPS Eligibility
  • Four years or twelve quarters
  • If Undergraduate degree earned in less than 12
    quarters remaining TOPS may be applied to
    graduate academic work as long as academic
    requirements are met.
  • If TOPS lost due to low GPA, it may be regained
    if all other conditions are met and the GPA is
    raised to the appropriate level within two years.
