- Airport Pick-up and Temporary Accommodation
- 100 incoming students (5 summer 2008, 90 Fall
2008, 5 Spring 2009) were provided with both
airport pick ups and temporary accomodation for a
week. - -Trips to the Venkateswara Temple ( 2 buses are
arranged for in collaboration with the temple
authorities every once a month for students
interested in visiting the temple) - Provides Indian students with a common platform
in the form of Yahoo groups and Facebook to
interact and share information with other
students and the established Indian Community at
Pittsburgh. - Also brings about interactions between graduate
students at C.M.U and the undergraduate
organizations H.S.C and I.S.A at PITT - Why Sanskrit in the Modern World, Yoga Workshop

300 people. - The Mumbai Fund Raiser saw 300 people in
attendance and raised 2400 which was directed
towards the victims and families affected by the
terrorist attacks.
