What Support Can You Give at Home?

• Have students organize and review their math
  binder work nightly or weekly
• Inquire - tell me about the Investigation you did
  in Math Class today?
• If your child is struggling with the math
  homework
• Ask to see the lesson that was done in class that
  day the homework is generally connected to the
  daily class work
• Have your child try the easier problems first
• If your child is still struggling with homework
• Contact the math teacher
• Have your child stay after school for additional
  help

Ask to See Your Childs Math Binders

• Students are asked to keep math binders which
  correlate with the assignments given during math
  class
• Math binders should be keep orderly and reviewed
  and organized nightly/weekly by students
• Math binders include the following sections
• Warm-ups, Class Work, Tool Box, Vocabulary, Math
  Reflections, and Assessments
