The Novo Nordisk Haemophilia Foundation (NNHF)
was created in 2005 to address the significant
need for improving haemophilia care in the
developing world where haemophilia is not yet a
healthcare priority and many patients still go
undiagnosed or are inadequately treated

• NNHF was established in 2005 in Zurich,
  Switzerland, as an independent non-profit entity
  under Swiss Laws
• NNHF was created in response to the concrete need
  to improve haemophilia care and treatment in the
  developing world
• NNHF is governed by a Foundation Council

• NNHF supports sustainable improvement programmes
  in the developing world in areas like
• Geographic focus of NNHF is on developing
  countries defined by the OECD Development
  Assistance Committee list as well as European
  transition countries
