Tension Plates

• Down stream tension plate shows glass fibers
• Up stream tension plate shows less etching but
  more carbon deposits

HV Plates

• Down stream HV plate shows same effect on FR4
  material. Also conductive epoxy is darkened
• Less effect on the FR4 in the up stream side
• Conductive epoxy is changed
• C deposits on surface

• Down stream conductive epoxy
• Conductive Epoxy has darkened but still
  conductive
• Up stream conductive epoxy

• This shows the back of the HV plate. The
  conductive epoxy looks unchanged.

Summary of Autopsy

• FR4 material of HV plates were etched
• Large C pieces were found on the back of the
  inlet tension plate
• This is probably from blowing the leader wire in
  the chamber
• It was determined to be material from the straw.
• Tra Bond 2902 was discolored
• AY 103 had pores in the surface
