- Pose weekly trivia contests or information
scavenger hunts based on the "Term of the Day.

- For each of the tips below, follow these steps in
Advanced Search - Check desired category (i.e. Images,
Biographies, Quotes, etc.) - Click the "Expand to Subtopics" link next to
"Topics" - Check desired subtopic(s)
- Preview and then select relevant entries
- Use our image library as a resource to create
PowerPoint presentations, illustrated timeline
charts for the classroom, and other visual
materials - Create your own course pack of hand-selected
essays, biographies, images, maps, chronologies,
glossary terms, etc. - Post a "quote of the week" attributed to a
historical figure from the era and region
currently under study - Select quotes that seem applicable to students'
lives, to illustrate the relevance of studying
the ancient and medieval world
