  • Three Decker arm (Fire truck ladder)
  • Simple, yet sturdy design
  • Seemingly over-proportionate to the robot but
    still withstands and balanced.

Power
  • Used for extending or retracting the ladder-arm.
  • Two Fischer-Price (FP) with transmission.
  • Doesnt require a lot of torque or speed.

Connection
  • Has rounds of pulleys from the bottom end of the
    robot, around each deck, and to the motors.
  • The wires go around the pulleys raising the arm
    up or down as the motors move.

  • Regular Programming provided by the FIRST.
  • Assign two of the PWM outputs to the motors.
  • The Pneumatics Cylinder assigned to change the
    arms angle.

  • Comparatively small pneumatics cylinder. (One
    3/4 Cylinder)
  • Controls the robots arms up and down movement.

  • Connected by a big, metal hinge at the bottom of
    the robot to the main body.
