Transformer division StropTel, s.r.o.
ABOUT THE COMPANY The company Stroptel was
originally founded as Telspec Stropkov in the
year 1994. It was established as a 100
subsidiary of british company Telspec in order to
assembly transformers and coils for the Telspec
group, operating in England, Scotland, Australia
and Turkey. In the year 2001 we completed MBO
process, when slovak management bought out
english owners and renamed itself to Stroptel.

Presently, StropTel employs approximately 125
people. It deals with design, testing and
production of transformers (and coils) to
customer specifications. The present capacity
exceeds 1 000 000 transformers, of various
designs, per month.

• Production is mainly focused on
• ferrite transformers for telecommunication
  application (xDSL, isolation, interference
  suppression, pulse circuit application etc)
• relays and air coils
• toroid transformers and coils for lower power
• mains transformers for lower power
• coils used in medical

COMMITMENT TO QUALITY
StropTel uses state of the art technology and
professional staff to produce transformers. Compon
ents used are from reputable companies such as
EPCOS, FERROXCUBE, ELEKTRISOLA etc. All
manufactured products are 100 tested using
dedicated test equipment.
The Company has been accredited by SGS Yarsley
International certification Services with ISO
9001. Currently we are adapting our production to
comply with automotive industry standard ISO/TS
16 949.

Production machines produced by MARSILLICO,
TANAKA, ELMER, JOVIL are used. These machines
are fully or semi-automatic with 1,2,4,6,8 and
more spindles programmable. Vacuum casting
technology is also available.

Our Research Development team is able to
design transformers by customer
specifications. Highly skilled professional
staff and good contacts with suppliers ensure
quality at a competitive price every time. We
believe that satisfied customers become regular
customers.
