Ski/Snowboard Instructing Certificate Program

• WESTACTIVE English College is dedicated in
  directing students towards a career in ski and
  snowboard instruction. Students then have the
  opportunity to remain in Canada and earn a living
  as instructors.
• People who wish to become members of CASI
  (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors)
  or CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Association)
  must attend and pass a Level 1 Instructor or
  coaching certification course, which WEC is proud
  to offer.

Ski/Snowboard Instructing Certificate Program

• CASI Level 1 Instructors Course
• Level 1 is an introductory course designed
  to teach Instructors how to introduce
  snowboarding to beginning riders. It also
  introduces candidates to the competitive side of
  snowboarding and coaching entry level athletes.

• Level 2 stresses more the intermediate level
  of riding skills and novice and focuses on
  intermediate to advanced riding skills and
  coaching athletes at the development level.

• CSIA Level 1 Instructor's course
• The Level 1 Ski Instructor certification
  represents the first step for Canadian Ski
  Instructors. It combines the basics of practical
  ski teaching, technique, and development of the
  guest experience.
• This introduces candidates to the C.S.I.A.
  and ski teaching and is for any skier over the
  age of 15 that is a competent parallel skier and
  wants an introduction to ski teaching.

PROGRAMS TOEFL and TOEIC
preparation

• TOEFL preparation
• The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
  is the best-known North American exam of English
  proficiency, and it is recognized around the
  world. Many Canadian and American universities,
  colleges and career colleges have a specific
  TOEFL score as the entry requirement for their
  institution.
• Students in the TOEFL program take 20 or 30 hours
  per weeks of study. This course includes TOEFL
  related grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening
  exercise, frequent practice tests with feedback
  and error correction. WEC also prepares for the
  computer based TOEFL Exam.
