• Cherokees had called it home for years and
  centuries The Cherokee Nation continued in their
  enchated land forever until 1828.

The Gold Rumor

• Then a rumor of gold in there land, but then a
  man named Desoto had reentry searched, and was
  discovered in the North Georgia Mountains. All
  the Indians moved and got ill and many died along
  the way and they cried badly.

Native American's Problem

• Between 1790 and 1830 the population that Georgia
  had there increased to six - fold.The western
  settlers kick off the land.That created a big
  problem for the Indian.

Georgians Get Land

• Georgians continued to take all the Indian's
  Land and then the Georgians forced all the Native
  Americans to the frontier where they had never
  been before.

On Their Way
Indians On Their Way Many Died

Gone for Long Time

• By the year of 1825 Lower Creek had completely
  removed from the State Under Provisions of the
  treaty of the Indian Spring. By the year of1827
  the creek were completely gone.
