VISION
  • Future ANS provision in the North European
    region shall have no constraints due to the
    national borders. The customer shall also be able
    to fly the optimal routes in a harmonised
    airspace and any information related to an
    efficient handling of a flight shall be made
    available

NEAP ATM Master Plan - Purpose
  • The ATM masterplan is a strategy and high level
    plan for future development of ANS in the North
    European area, providing a framework for the
    realisation of the Service Concept.

NORTH EUROPEAN FAB
  • The NEAP approach to the FAB concept is
    predicated on meeting customer requirements by
    the elaboration of  service areas in which a
    consolidated group of organisations deliver
    services tailored to user requirements specific
    to each service area.
  • These tailored services will contribute to
    increased flight efficiency, higher safety levels
    and a greener environment.
  • Consolidated service provision will ensure
    optimised use of infrastructure and a harmonised
    service level - resulting in reduced costs.

The NEAP region and SESAR
  • Deploy NE ATM Master Plan and strengthen the
    NEAP regional voice
  • NEAP region to implement early to serve as a
    good and environmentally friendly example and
    experience gainer
  • Support on-going/strategic activities

  • Avoid costly and unnecceary investments based on
    core area needs to ATM increase costefficient
    services one size does not fit all
  • Improve on collaboration between airports,
