Graduation Requirements
  • Look at your transcript this is an official

  • Be sure all your classes are on your transcript.
  • P on transcript indicates course is on a-g list
    and is college prep

Graduation Requirements
  • College/online courses (taken from an accredited
    high school or college) are only added to
    transcript if required for graduation or to meet
    minimum a-g requirements. Must be pre-approved by
    Director/Counselor see new District Policy.
  • Students are responsible for making sure they
    meet all graduation requirements
  • Students must investigate whether courses meet
    college entrance requirements

American Literature Honors (P)
  • On UC/CSU Approved Course List bPrerequisites
    Junior standing, passage of the exit exam,
    completion of English 10 with an A.
  • Students electing to take American Literature
    Honors are placed in an American Literature class
    and take the same course as outlined in American
    Literature however, the Honors component creates
    an advanced college-level survey course for which
    students receive weighted grade points. Students
    go beyond the regular American Literature
    curriculum through extensive required readings
    and write a minimum of eight analytical literary
    evaluation and expository essays. Please note
    that a student who enrolls in an Honors course
    cannot opt out of the study of a novel.

  • You may request a free period 1 or 7 no
    guarantee but we will try! ?

    elective courses-we will choose our course
    offerings based on the of requests.

  • Do not sign up for auditioned music courses. You
    will be placed following audition.
  • Please do not sign up for a class where you have
    not met the prerequisites..
  • If you do not return a completed planner by the
    due date (3/9), classes may be selected for you!

Summer School
  • Complete the application and have parent/guardian
    sign it-
  • List the course or courses youre signing up for
    on the planner. Course primarily for remediation
    only- not to get ahead on credits.
  • DV students should not take US Gov or Econ.
  • Please notify the Summer school office if you
    need to drop a class so those on the waiting list
    can secure a spot.
