Dehydrogenation into Styrene  Won-Jae Lee,
Gilbert F. Froment and Rayford G. Anthony  This
research project focuses on the development of a
kinetic model for the catalytic reactions that
take place over potassium promoted iron oxide
catalyst in the presence of steam. This study
also includes the deactivation resulting from
coking and loss of the potassium by its migration
to colder zones in the reactor. To simulate
multibed adiabatic reactor these detailed kinetic
models are inserted into the continuity
equations, energy equation and momentum
equation.
