• The TCCC is a six-year old public/private
  partnership that is assembling a curriculum aimed
  at producing the ample and highly-skilled
  transportation workforce our mobility demands.

• A drilled Shaft Course was quickly needed for 10
  inspectors
• National course materials were used
• There was a large cost savings to ITD and the
  inspectors got what they needed just in time

• Is using the new TCCC developed Instructor
  Development for Technicians course as well as
  portions of the Drilled Shaft and Driven
  Piling course
• The TCCC is assisting with the need for
  technical courses. Iowa contributed to the
  pooled fund for this reason. If we only use one
  course from TCCC, Iowas contribution has paid
  for itself
