• Current Conditions
• No Expansion Permitted Existing system cannot be
  modified to accept additional sewage from a
  school expansion.
• Proximity Non-Compliance PaDEP will not permit
  the installation of new On-lot sewage disposal
  systems.
• PDE reasonable Construction Standards PDE
  requires the School Board and design professional
  certify the scope of the proposed project will
  bring the existing facility to a level of current
  construction standards (20 years).
• Conclusions
• Connect to public sewer to ensure long term
  sewage disposal is provided and comply with PDE
  construction standards reference.
• Renovate the existing facility without State
  reimbursement.
• Determine an alternate location to provide
  adequate space for a new facility.
