- AND (narrows search, retrieving records

box is checked, and click Continue. - The results will be saved as a text (txt) file.

- Select Complete Reference under the Fields menu
ensure that OVID is selected under the Result

22A Brief Note on SFX
- Provides a link between several databases and
full-text articles (note that NLM is NOT linked
to SFX) - note in New OVID SP, this feature will be
implemented in January/February 2008 - Not only does SFX automatically search the
library catalogue for electronic holdings, it
also notifies the user when material is not

- Natural language processing
- Topic, phrase, question, or keywords can be
entered - No need to worry about syntax (Boolean operators,
truncation) - Spell-check feature if word misspelled, warning
